Cash app delayed notifications issue
According to several reports, payment notifications received through Cash App are experiencing noticeable delays which are causing problems for users.
The Cash App delayed notifications issue started a few days ago, and the delay between when a payment arrives and when the user receives the notification can be several hours.
Has anyone encountered extremely delayed notifications on cashapp? It’s been days like this so far. The customer sends payment for a purchase and I get the email notification about 8+ hours later. Not so convenient for my business..

Cash app, please fix this push notification issue
We have been getting delayed notifications in emails and apps for 3 days, about 6-7 hours later. The payment already received does not appear automatically, I have to refresh the screen several times or search manually by putting the checkout label of the sender. It’s so weird considering the Cash app is so big. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. It’s so unacceptable.
In the most severe cases, some users are facing delayed notifications for weeks.
My CASHAPP hasn’t been active for weeks lol.
Meanwhile, some even report that their Cash App notifications never worked.
Everyone is talking about @CashApp noti delays and I always wonder what it looks like when you get a noti because I never have lol. One day will be my time to shine.
Official recognition, potential workaround
The Cash App team is already aware of the issue in question and is looking into it. In the meantime, they recommend users to close and reopen the app as a potential workaround.

Additionally, you can try removing any battery saving limitations that the system has placed on Cash App through your device’s operating system settings.

6:00 p.m. (IST): A user said that this issue has been fixed for a while. But it started to happen again after a while.
it looked like it was fixed this morning for a while but the same thing started again. I wish they could tell us something like, work on it or something, at least something. I don’t even know if they are working on it to fix it. It’s more than ridiculous. (Source)
Update 2 (April 23)
09:48 (IST): The Cash app recently received a new update (3.63.1) on iOS which brings bug fixes and performance improvements. However, it does not mention anything regarding the delayed notification issue.
